Admittedly, I am the type of person that subscribes to many podcasts and listens to about 4 of them due to time constraints. One of the lucky few that I like to carve out my time for is Transgression Podcast, essentially creators in discussion. Transgression is hosted by Menton3, David Stoupakis, and Damien Echols, and features discussions with artists and discussions with each other, and it’s definitely a podcast I recommend to those in my life who need it.

Last night, I listened to the podcast that was firmly controlled by one of my favorite artists, Darby ‘Old Hag’ Lahger. I wish I could pinpoint when I even discovered her work, but she’s definitely one of my favorite people to follow on Instagram. She is a master of capturing a moment, residing in rural Sweden and taking photographs that look like they were plucked from the mind of a fantasy writer.

She mentions in the podcast that she receives a lot of comments from people wanting to move to Sweden because they believe that this is what it looks like all of the time. She states that these moments don’t randomly occur, discipline goes into chasing them down, “waking up at the ass crack of dawn and climbing a mountain.”

I could go on and on, but the Transgression Podcast with her was so enlightening to listen to. I know a lot of people that I know follow her already on Instagram, so this interview is small peek into her world.
